If you are not ready to start growing immediately, the PureMycelia™ kit can be stored unopened in the refrigerator at 2–8°C.

Storage between flushes
After harvesting a flush, the kit can be rehydrated according to the provided instructions and placed back into the growing environment.
If you need to temporarily pause the process, the kit may be stored in the refrigerator for several days. Avoid frequent temperature changes, as this can affect future yields.
Storage after flushes
To store fresh mushrooms for more than a few days, it is essential to dry them properly. A detailed step-by-step drying guide is sent via email with your order.
Once fully dried, store them in an airtight container in a cool, dark place. For extended preservation, refrigeration is recommended.
Shelf life
Fresh mushrooms: 3–4 days (refrigerated)

A PureMycelia™ kit contains mycelium only, not finished psilocybin mushrooms yet, as these only develop once you begin growing. While psilocybin and psilocin are regulated substances in most EU member states, mycelium itself is not always explicitly listed as a controlled substance.
Thanks to this favorable legal status, we can confidently say that, as far as we are aware, none of our shipments to Austria, Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, and Spain have been intercepted due to legal reasons.
